Devonshire Clotted Crème originated in the Region of Devonshire, England. It is a thick, rich crème that is traditionally used as a topping for Scones. Because it is made from non-pasteurized milk (sour milk), it is not available in America.  Until Now ! Kevton Gourmet has formulated a powdered mix that is easy and convenient to use.  It is a 2oz. Dry mix that you add to 8oz.of sour cream. You can make it ahead of time & keep it refrigerated for weeks at a time or make it up in seconds. We developed our "Devonshire Clotted Crème" to use on top of our "Scones of Joy" but found a variety of uses for this Rich Crème. "Devonshire Clotted Crème" Mix can be used as a fruit dip,a short bread topping, a fajita crème and as many ways as you can imagine...
